WGR614v8 crashing very frequently

I have a WGR614v8 wireless cable router with latest software from Netgear installed that keeps crashing and restarting itself. This is being used at university and is connected directly to a network cable coming in to the room.

The crashes normally happen when using Skype from a PC via a wireless connection. Checking internet connectivity from the PC when it crashes shows lost connection. After a couple of minutes, internet connectivity is restored. If we take the WGR614 out the loop and directly connect the network cable to the PC, no problems show up.

Any suggestions for debugging?
