Broadcom query

Can you use DGTeam firmware on any Broadcom chipped router other than Netgears?

Is it right to assume it would have to have the same chip/chipset as the Netgear's firmware relates to.

Well, food for thought, there are different versions of DGTeam for different Netgear 834 models, even when they have the same 6348 chip or the 6358.

Thanks for your thoughts on this, I think there are too many variables within specific firmware even if the routers appear to use the same numbered chipsets, in truth it gets too techy for me tongue

I came upon this thread today, quite interesting in some ways.
