Thanks - but that one includes the Router function and DHCP &c - they really do want a simple one. One that I can show them how to set up and use, then walk away.

Three outputs ports would be fine - most come with four which I why suggested that. Two are needed, plus a spare so three plus the WAN input is fine.
Had not thought of Apple, just the various Netgear, Linksys/CISCO, ZyXel, Draytek &c. Just need to make sure it will just plug and play with a 2700 - looks as though it does.

Not for me but someone I am advising remotely ... I will visit in a couple of weeks hence the do it once and walk away. There is a 2wire 2700 in a comms room but the power level is too low. The four ports are in use so I want to use one of those to put a WAP on in the office and provide a couple of additional ports

I've got the Extreme plugged into some Draytek kit - works fine.
Can you set the Extreme to be a simple bridge (without NAT) as you can with the Express ? As the new Express only does single band N, not dual band annoyingly
James - be* pro - on THFB - sync about 17.2mbps - BQM
