Looking for a new router

[link to this post]

I've recently got one of the new 360's with the built in wireless N, my Blu-Ray player has wireless N and so does my iPhone. Also my old Netgear is getting a little long in the tooth so I'm looking to replace it. I'm on BT ADSL Max (nearly 8mb) and game/download/stream (well I'd like to) over the wireless and wired connection (my PC has a gigabit NIC, not that it really matters). I don't have a set budget, I'm just looking for a quality router. Cheers.

I recently upgraded from a Netgear DG834 to a Billion BiPAC 7800, which has a 4 port Gigabit switch and Dual WAN sockets (Cable + ADSL). You can configure the default SNR margin (which enabled me to tweak the a litle more out of my own ADSL2+ line). I also bought it because Billion are (reportedly) bringing out a firmware patch in the UK, to use IPv6. They also make a wireless N version of it.

As the previous poster said go for a Billion BiPAC 7800N. In my home i've got 2 PCs connected to it, 2 smartphones, a wifi printer and a Boxee Box...all by wireless N. It all works flawlessly. Highly recommended....have a look at the Amazon reviews smile
