Router Upgrade? (WBC)

Ok so i currently have a DG384G v3 running DGteam and new wireless aerial

I also have a D-Link 2640R and DG384GT (unlocked)

Now problem is the v3 always gets at least 800kbps better sync than the other two routers =/ (i know i can tweak SNR with the GT but my line is 3db already so anything more than 1.8db things can get flakey also since it gets like 1mbps less sync pushing down the snr it can just reach the speed of the v3 @ 3db but far less stable)

So in turn i want a router which can always get at least as good sync as the v3 and wireless N no need for gigabit ethernet or anything.

My ISP uses WBC/21cn

anyone know decent routers than sync well with the 21cn exchange equipment and fit my needs?

Usually PPPoA. Which ISP is it?

try a TP-Link TD-W8960N or TD-W8961N(newer) router. This costs about 2 takeaways and if it does not fit the bill, then whats the loss...

PPPOE seems to work allot better than PPPOA for some reason =/

i was told that 21CN natively supports PPPOE and is backwords compatiable with PPPOA.

Why not find a good WAP that support N and feed that from the stable modem/router?

So use my DG384G as a Modem only and ethernet to a wireless router like this for example?

Right idea, as you are happy with the modem performance of your DG384G - stick with it.

But wrong product. You need a plain access point without router functionality, which could biog you down unless you know how to turn of DHCP, manage IP ranges and netmasks.
