In the never-ending quest to find the perfect router for my ADSL2+ line since my Cisco 877 won't play fair, I decided to try a BT2700HGV yesterday (rumour has it that these are great at holding sync). Picked it up from a friend and it had the Singtel firmware on it. Got it running last night however the BQM shows multiple drops over night. This morning I loaded on a version (v5.29.107.12) of the BT firmware from here: http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm
Router was officially connected at 1:30pm today. According to the stats, it's dropped 6 times in a little under 10hrs (along with my sync speed).

Router is currently connected to the upstairs extension (only extension off the master socket). I know I need to plug this in the test socket and retest. Hopefully I will be able to do that soon.
I did have briefly a Netgear DG834G v4 and that was somewhat stable (occasionally had it's moments). Will have to see if I can get another one.
I'm currently with Xilo on their C&W LLU service.
Could there be a fault or just the BT2700GHV not liking the LLU equipment?
