Upstream SNR Margin?

Just a quick question;

Can the 'SNR Margin (upstream) be changed like it can be with the 'SNR Margin (downstream)?

It would be nice to tweak my upstream speed/sync...

I have no idea why my upstream sync rate is so low and my downstream is excellent, it really is doing my nut in as i've tried everything I can think of to help improve it (changed filters, plugged router directly into the telephones master socket and checked wiring/ringwire etc.)

It's a little odd, it's either down to sky or a possible fault with the line, are you full llu or SMPF bb only, you should really be getting a bit more downstream too,

down to sky= they have it capped plus they use DLM so that maybe part of the problem, certainly why you have to drop the downstream such much to achieve a 21mbit sync , the max possible uncapped was 1.2mbit on the older kit
But there is no way of reducing the upstream snr via the router, only sky have control over that

SKY yesterday started re-training the line after I contacted them, so can't really do much atm.

Also, does anyone know of any good monitoring software which will monitor my SNR etc?

Routerstats there is a Billion 7800 template in 6.7b.
