Trouble configuring Fritzbox 7390

I bought a Fritzbox 7390 last week, I have been trying to connect to configure it, but without success, it doesn't seem to be issuing a DHCP address. Trying to connect via fritz.box or 192.168.178.1 just results in a page not found.

I have tried with 2 Win 7 PC's and a Mac running OSX Lion, also 2 different patch leads, any ideas as to what else I can try?

Ensure PC is same network and on subnet 255.255.255.0, with default gateway set to the router IP. network discovery enabled? Tried it?

Sorted, a user on IDNetters suggested using the Recovery tool ftp://ftp.avm.de/fritz.box/fritzbox.fon_wlan_7390/x_... I can now access it.
