Help, My internet Is Slowing Down!?

Ok I have a Hauwei Echo Life HG521 and i have talktalk as my internet provider.
My internet was always 60Kb/s then it went up 10 Kb/s
I got a technician out from talktalk and the internat became 250kb/s
But i have to restart my internet alot and it went down again
But when the technician was here he said it was something about each time you restart the modem it goes down he said he changed some settings to put it up and all i want to know is how do i do that so my internet isnt slow BTW it is now 40Kb/s

Yes, those are the stats.

It appears that your target SNR margin has been raised to 15dB from the default 6dB. If you have several weeks of stability that should drop back to 6dB and your sync should rise back to 2500kbps.

You could request a reset of your target SNR margin to 6dB by your ISP but may meet with a refusal or a lack of understanding. I'd wait for several days to see if the margin drops of its own accord.

Did you buy or replace anything electrical or electronic at the point where this problem started? Sky boxes, microwaves,TV, light fittings, phones, vacuum cleaner for example. Or did you re-site anything - we've even found someone place the router on top of the TV or Sky box.
