This afternoon I had intended to install a brand new Billion Bipac 7800N to replace my ageing Linksys WAG200G.
Disconnected Linksys, plugged in Billion and waited for it to sync. And waited .. and waited. DSL led just stayed off. Phoned Broadband Buyer (from whom it was bought) and they referred me to Billion UK support.
Went through the process over the phone, but still no DSL led even after a reset. Declared a failure by Billion and has to be replaced.
I've always had Linksys before and never a problem - have I just been unlucky with the Billion?
Old Linksys reconnected and synced straight away. Certainly dented my confidence in Billion - what's their QC like?
