Fritz!Box 7390 - Changing SNR

Hi,

I am attempting to change/lower the SNR on my fritz!box 7390. I have tried both telnet and the FBedit tool but I cannot get my adsl to resync to where I want it.

I have confirmed the DLM is not doing anything by plugging my netgear in and adjusting the noise margin on that and it resync'd instantly to near 20mb.

Values I have tried are -25 and even -60 with no change in sync speed or noise margin shown in the GUI.


My ISP is Sky and my line is manually set to the 20MB gamer profile.

Just wanted to reply that I am still trying to get my fritz!box to lower the SNR on my line with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

ask on one of the german adsl boards, and no its not a pun, they are used extensively in Germany.

I am not sure you can. Try the AVM overseas thread at Whirlpool.net.au.
