It's Lantiq, like the HH5 type A.

Obtaining stats is all about the firmware and what coders let you see

OK, Well forgive me for not knowing much on this subject as I'm brand new to FTTC and only first even used the service at my new neighbours house today.

Some learning to be done.

Try looking at the 2860 instead - the firmware is worked on more and there are often more features. You might be able to get a used/almost new 2860 on eBay for same price as a new 2760.

I did look at that but can't justify spending nearly £200 on a wired router at the moment and still have 2 AP's to buy as well as forking out £300 on a NAS and installing a new gigabit Ethernet network throughout my new place.

Also not a fan of second hand electronics.

Thanks for info regarding FW though.

IF ( i am not saying get it) you get a 2760n ask the shop for the new updated delight version, is faster than the old standard 2760 version, has almost same menu & features (by now) as the 2860 & is been added to the updated version snr tweak (via telnet for vdsl) ... 2,4G only but i believe its signal is far better than the 2860

I emailed draytek about the different firmwares and was told they don't do the linux versions any more, only the DrayOS versions (Delight) ...

ps. I'm getting Wireless AP's separately as I live in a big house and want to also broadcast a guest network using vlan

I'm getting TP-Link TL-WA801ND Access Points as they allow upto 4 SSID's using different vlans
