Re: Single device on network, needs no NAT

Yup, it was fine with simple port forwarding on Draytek 2700 on ADSL2+, so it can be done on some set-ups, but clearly my set-up isn't one of them.

By the way, does anybody know if it's possible to fix LAN port speeds on the HG612 to 100 full-duplex or are they auto-negotiation only? I've been googling but I couldn't find it!

Works great, thanks guys for this great, cheap solution! smile

Received my HG612 today, unlocked it plugged the Polycom into LAN 2 port, set it to DMZ and it works great!

Quick question: If I need to add more devices to this network, do you think it would be a good idea to add just a simple network switch and plug it into LAN1 port, or would I need anything more complex?

Thanks again.

If I need to add more devices.....

Should be OK to do as you say, Is it performing DHCP?

Make sure you run a shields up scan grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Most ports are only closed not full stealth....more details on the grc website.

You may have to forward some ports to stealth them (some may be open frown ).
