Cheapest way to get 802.11ac?

I have hyperoptic but their [censored] router only has 802.11n on 2.4GHz only, which is so silly on a gigabit connection.

I have a gigabit switch for most of my stuff but my laptop could do with someothing faster. Is there any really cheap 802.11ac APs? Only needs 1 gigabit ethernet port.

Great idea. What do I need to do? just disable dhcp? anything else?

Maybe change it's IP address, turn off smart setup, turn off smart wireless, split the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, use the Yellow LAN sockets only and not the Red WAN socket.
