Looking for ADSL/ADSL2+ AC router with VPN server

Anyone know of any of these or better still have experience of them. Alternatively could get a Cable router (ie. no modem) and a simple ADSL bridge (a simple modem with a single RJ45).

I have an Asus AC750 Wireless Router which has a VPN server. That would be a Cable router in your terminology.
