Anyone know what happened to clarity.it? Always found the website informative.
Is there any place I can get a genuine NTE5C and Mk4 VDSL faceplate from?

Thanks - have you used this company before?
Is the backbox on the NTE5C the same as NTE5?
Appreciate your help.

Is the backbox on the NTE5C the same as NTE5? No. On the NTE5A the faceplate is screwed into the backbox, the NTE5C has a squeeze-click latch mechanism.
On the technical side extensions are connected to the backbox of the NTE5C not the faceplate, but removing the faceplate still isolates them. Link.

I've used the company before several times and have always been very happy with the service.

I think the OP was asking if an NTE5C itself will fit onto the previous NTE back box, it will.
It is the frontplate (the detachable lower portion of the NTE) which changes from NTE to NTE5C.

You do realise that you are not allowed to fit an NTE5C yourself to replace an NTE5A?

If you do have issues with the NTE5C/Mk4 combo then run-it-direct also do a VTE 2015 vDSL/ADSL Faceplate which fits on a NTE5A (unlike the Mk4 plate it does not have a RF filter, a disadvantage if you have REIN problems.) I believe It does come with both machine and self taping mounting screws.

I believed the MK3 Openreach faceplate did have an RF filter.

Yes that is correct and the Mk2 does also.
