Hi all - I'm looking for a bit of advice.
My current broadband set-up is BT ADSL via a Home Hub 4, WiFi off, configured to send all traffic into the DMZ which points at the WAN port of an ASUS AC68U, which then looks after my internal network. I've had this in place for a year now and it works fine - the ASUS lets me configure the small amount of network management I need (essentially just port forwarding my IP cameras to the outside world).
However, next week I upgrade to BT FTTC and I have been sent a shiny new Smart Hub 6. So now I am wondering - do I just swap one BT box for another and setup the Smart Hub as a pseudo modem or is the Smart Hub capable enough these days to take the place of both of the current boxes?
Any advice gratefully received.
