Fritzbox 7590 very low bandwidth on FTTC

I normally get ~37Mbit down and ~13Mbit up either with the openreach router of my old draytek router.

With this new Fritzbox it only connects at ~11Mbit down / 6Mbit up, and I can't for the life of me work out why.

Under DSL status it shows
Max. DSLAM throughput kbit/s 59000
Attainable throughput kbit/s 11223

The overview shows the connection as VDSL2 17a (ITU G.993.2)

Anyone with any experience of these devices got any clues?

Have you checked for any firmware updates?

Doh - I should pay more attention to my cabling. Yup that was a weird cabling problem that's all

I assume that you have found advanced settings in the menu? FWiW, I have been using a 7590 for over 18 months and it is as stable as a rock on a 72D/20U connection. No re-boots for 65 days. The last reboot was when the firmware updated to v7.12.
