Connect old openreach modem to BT Smart hub?

Just recently switched to BT from zen, previously I used an old openreach modem as it gave highest sync speeds for my poor connection. Since moving they've dropped quite a bit and haven't went back up.

I'm thinking the openreach mode was just the best fit for my long distance line. Problem is I'm not sure how to connect it to the smart hub/ put it in router only mode? Google is not helping much.

Don’t bother, the built in modem in the smart hub is better than the old stand alone VDSL modem
