Enta FTTC slowed down - sync (IP Profile) the same?

I'm using the standard Openreach ECI modem so unfortunately am running pretty blind as far as line stats and errors are concerned (thanks BT for locking things down, very helpful tongue )

My IP Profile has been stable at 23.16 for a number of weeks which is mostly all I have to go on as regards line sync/health.
I keep an eye on this, and regular speed tests always looked correct for that profile - i.e. I would normally see results around 20+

But recently I've noticed speedtest results are now around 12-14!
As I mentioned my IP Profile still shows as 23.16.

Before starting to troubleshoot things and talk to Freeola my ISP I thought I would ask here in case others are seeing similar results.

I'm still saving up for a FTTC router so I can see more line stats!

Not seen this myself but I have noticed that things have been slow to recover from a blip when my sync dropped to 48. Attainable rate is back to what it used to be but sync is stuck a little bit lower. Very few errors either end now though.
By all means send in a ticket and we can look at what is showing our end. Throw in the BT speed test results as well.

Thanks Rob.

Late last night I started seeing more normal speedtest results. i.e. Just into the 20s (20.03) rather than 14 or so. I'm seeing the same results this morning.
I often use Freeola's Ookla based tester or Ookla's Android app if I'm not on my desktop which gives me a feel for how things are.

BT's test is still showing RED for my download throughput this morning, but is over 19:

Download speed achieved during the test was - 19.4 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 20 Mbps-23.16 Mbps .
Additional Information: IP Profile for your line is - 23.16 Mbps

So not as good as things were for me where the throughput used to be very near the IP Profile - but better than things were for the last few days and all acceptable.

I've just remembered your Line Test which appears to run cleanly (no packet loss or jitter):
I'll rerun that if I see the slow throughput return.

My PPP session has been up for 19 days, so my line appears to be stable - as I mentioned I can't see the real stats.

I'll monitor things for now and raise a Support Ticket if things don't look right.
