Looks like bt are rolling high speed area in haslington in the slow spots then working in maybe could be wrong but seems left side of crewe from broad st to hospital are now live since 2nd march. Does look like anyone still showing on 31st is gonna get pushed back. Must say it's dissapoontong from bt as my cab and one up road have been there with power for weeks. Looks like bt are no good at resource planning or operational role outs lol give us a shout I'f you have got any jobs going I'm sure I could improve simple things like weekly updates instead of stupid promotions like the race for infinity lol

super speeds but super slow at role out ! Fact !

Sorry I meant there was a download limit. (60gb, 90gb or 120gb limit)

I've ordered with BT £27 per month with no download limit.

Aquiss very pricey with poor upload speed too

BT have a fair a FUP and I believe the package you have selected is subject to traffic management. You are also subject to a longer contract than that with Aquiss. As for the faster upload, I have that with Aquiss, I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

BTs FUP is 300GB, plus P2P is subject to management. If you exceed the FUP then I believe that you are limited to 2Mbps during peak time for the next month.

I am likely to go with Aquiss on their business 45 package, the peak time limit is 45GB/month but outside of the peak times is unlimited (weekends are also unlimited) and there is no traffic shaping or throttling. Peak times are 8 am to 8pm and that suits me fine as for most of that time I am at work.

This theory doesnt work either. I am 5km from Haslington exchange, have a shiny new Infinity Cab (since Early Jan), get approx 350kbps if i am lucky- and mine is silent, and apparently doesnt have fibre to it yet.

I guess 31/3 is a pipe dream?

Don't give up hope! Same here, mid january then nothing. Then the go live date changed to 31 Sept 2011. Saw the OR vans by the cab at lunch time today so took the dog for a hasty walk!

The engineers said it was all powered and fibred up. Just needed to go live at the exchange which they would have assumed it would already have been. Weren't sure if they would liven them up in batches or not, but thought that that would be the obvious thing to do.

Gonna keep checking now to see if the date changes on the BT checker,
Then it's Aquiss here we come smile

Knowing how it works is completely different to understanding how it works.

See Aquiss have now a Residential Fibre Package,60gb for £36,which looks better than the business 45,which after adding vat is also £36.Although the peak usage hours are 8am to Midnight compared to the Business 45 's 8am to 8pm.
