Oxfordshire NGA info

Just a nugget I found trawling Google for info about when the Cowley (SMCO) exchange might be FTTC/P'ed. No info for that, but it does have a likelyhood of being fibred map for Oxfordshire. Useful for fellow Oxonians!

The usual BT corporate/political spiel... however the maps are the very interesting bit. I've never seen any info like that for anywhere in the UK.

I've seen a document from Surrey County Council (or some local NGO) that included the same set of 3 maps for the county, having an identical look+feel. I suspect both BY & Surrey were getting them from somewhere else.

That has some UK-wide maps, and a set of data from which the county-wide maps could begin to be constructed. But I can't see the county-wide maps themselves.

Thank for the links... Oxfordshire has a lot more red (it aint going to happen exchanges) in comparison to Surrey. I suppose that's from being the most rural county in the sout east.

I read a recent NGA document from Kent CC mkaing the point that Kent is a very rural county. I am sure that they were right

Anyone got a similar map that coveres berkshire?

Well I live in Abingdon and the checker says Sept '11 for me and I don't know of any one here that has FTTC so are these maps a little out of date?
Didcot is correct though, they got it summer '10 - one of the first nation wide.

Well, it got most of the exchange names right, but other than that it isn't very accurate on dates, is it?

Nope. Looks like a shameless bit of BT propaganda to me . Anyway glad to see those living out of the sticks have a 50% chance of ever getting NGA. Oh well... At least TalkTalk ADSL2+ LLU should keep me going for a while
