You've LLU and a 17mbit sync - you're not doing as badly as some tongue

Where in Highlands? I've got work colleagues in Forres area, and a customer on the Findhorn exchange. Neither have LLU. (Although I note Forres itself now has TalkTalk, shame they're not in town).

No LLU there, so I can appreciate what overcongested BT 20CN services are like.

James - be* pro - on THFB - sync about 17.2mbps - BQM

They will be taking the uncontended feed from openreach and then backhauling on their own network, thus avoiding the WBC network which is what I presume you wanted to know

Whether it will be VULA or GEA at the exchange is more of a pricing issue, but in both cases would be Opal backhaul network.

What about FUP or any limit?

Westhill, small village on the outskirts of Inverness. The local exchange (NSICL) only serves 5k or so residential users so it was surprising to see a TalkTalk LLU presence last August; now C&W LLU have also joined joined them....thats not a surprise really, as Inverness is known as Tesco town (already 3 there, with a 4th being built LOL) and Tesco broadband runs on C&W LLU.

They probably found a cheaper way to get the backhaul back to inverness then.

Most likely the same as the package you are already on with TalkTalk since it is just a £10 speed boost

If the 1.1Mbps is because of phone line length, then only once FTTC rolls out will things improve
