My ISP has managed to get me a confirmed BT engineer's visit for Sunday pm 'cos BT were messing us both about.
I'm impressed as I understood that us mere mortals do not get weekend visits!

TBH, I am looking to buy a spare modem/router. Like the look of the Billion 8200N, but they seem to be as rare as rocking horse droppings.

I was going to point out that FTTC repair appointments are Monday to Saturday only, but have just read the rest of the thread, and seen you have found this out the hard way. No appointed faults on Sundays, just 'required by' work.
