BT fitting fibre Today, how long till cabinet is turned on?

Anyone know?

At the Sevenoaks exchange. BT open reach vans everywhere, just spoke to one of the guys who confirmed they are putting in the fibre cable between the cabinets now.

Anyone know how long until the cabinets will be activated after this? My checker says July 1st but know this isn't set in stone as it's changed 4 times already

I think it varies hugely. Ours were installed late June 2010 and didn't go live until december. I suspect things much quicker than that generally though

The fibre to our cabinet was installed 3rd week of February. Power was done 2 weeks later. The cabinet went "live" for orders this morning!
