My FTTC connection (though still technically in "training"), syncs at 38717, 100-150m from the cab approx.
It seems to consistently return results within the 20-24 Mbps range. Early morning or between 5.30-6pm it semms to climb into the high 30's.
Martin at Aquiss believes that the BT node I am connected to at Milton Keynes is one of the busiest. That could point to why the speed increases at the afternoon rush hour, then quickly falls back again in the early evening.
Either way my speed is a dramatic improvement, which if it remains stable is excellent news.
But I just wondered if subscribers on other nodes saw different results, or were also getting ADSL2+ similar results?
I have setup a shared monitor (that is if the router has now stopped blocking the ping requests) but I'm not sure how others can view it, so be my guest and tell me what you think of the connection.

Milton Keynes hand-over is running at 40% right now (just a few minutes after your above tests) therefore the speeds your reporting appear down to local congestion (Cabinet or Exchange) or thinkbroadband's tester is doing odd things.
There is no reason why you would not be getting full speeds right now which according to the test you have done on our tester appears to match (ie: 37Mbps).
What does the BT speedtester right now?

Is the handover the Entanet bit or the BT bit? I can see the Entanet bit on my iPhone and see it drop when 5pm comes along!

In summary, our tester and BT's official tester match very close (ie: your getting FTTC speeds in the 30Mbps+ area) yet thinkbroadband's tester is giving you low results at the same time.
That would appear to me to show a problem with the TBB tester. Why i'm not sure.

I'm referring the handover as the BT to Entanet bit at Milton Keynes.
When you say you see a drop, what sort of drop are you seeing? If you feel this is service impacting please do raise a support case so that we can monitor your line in far more detail.

hmmmm network still around 40% which is right for this time of night. I can't rule in or out what BT cabinets or your exchange are doing though, certainly not in real-time.
Nothing else running in background?

I mean the capacity. When you look during the day it is always quite high (close to the red). At 5.30pm ish you can see it drop down to perhaps 65%.
I assumed this was simply work users turning off and heading home.
Not impacting me (I dont think), just curious thats all  .

That's correct, 5.30pm is when we see a good 50% drop in traffic as folks head home.

I'm not too sure just what radius logins are telling me on my control panel, but there seems to be some data flowing.
Apart from my recent speed testing and my wife scanning facebook with her iPhone, then nothing is being used.
Does the usage look high for that? I can see the wifi lights on the router flashing away.

That would appear to me to show a problem with the TBB tester. Why i'm not sure. I don't think there's a problem with the tbb tester as such, but there's something odd about the results it gives with FTTC connections.
Along with quite a few others, it normally only gives me results around 60-70% of other speed tests, and I'm convinced it's not congestion.
If something major-ish happens on the 'net that, like a router going down or something, I can usually get full speed out of it for the following few days, then it reverts to the 60% or so.
But why... is an excellent question
