FTTC Install

Just had FTTC install done on my line, estimated at 11.4 Mbps, I am approx 950 meters from my PCP (as per Google Earth and the mileometer on my car).

BT engineer wasn't happy when he tested from master socket at 25 meg (in study, changed some years back but looped in to attic so must have 10 to 20 metres of extension cable in house). So he tested the original master socket (living room), got 32 meg, then tested extension off master (bedroom) got 30 meg, so I politely asked him to put the modem in the living room smile

Overall very satisfied with BT and Plusnet for this.
