I am having terrible trouble in my area with BT delaying FTTC activation ( rolling it on 3 months, every 3 months for the last year now) yet everyone around our estate apart from this one area, can have it (and have new FTTC cabinets next to the original, just our one does not). I am beginning to wonder if we are connected in a strange way to the Botley Exchange as it makes no sense.

Any chance for my postcode (SO30 2NG), you could give me the same stats please? Information in there may provide the answer and frankly my head hurts banging against the BT brickwall.

Many thanks for the speedy response, not sure that cabinet number matches the one I thought we were on which woudl explain a lot.

BTW reports September 2011 for both Postcode and Tel No. This has moved every 3 months since last Oct about 2 weeks before the date is reached (i.e last week it was June 2011, now sept 2011).

Out of interest, what cabinet number is postcode SO30 2RN? I used to live there and it is across the road and is FTTC enabled?

I live in South Bradville and for quite a few months the BT checker has shown FTTC is ready, and I know it's not as there is no cabinet installed yet. Mind you, another checker reckons July, and another September.
Go look for your nearest line cabinet and see if there is a new one next to it. If so, you may get it sometime...
