FTTC router

well..... After having FTTC installed today, I've discovered that I've made a bum choice in routers, it cant handle the speed. IPV6 would kinda be nice for the future, what would people recommend.

Depends on what else you want/need the router to do.

The draytek 2920 will do everything you have mentioned before, but not ipv6

My Netgear WNDR3700 handles the speed and supports IPV6

What did you get?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk

its only a cheap a TP-link TL-WR841N. I've used TP-link stuff loads and never had speed issues before. I didn't want to buy something expensive in case I got rubbish sync speeds. on a 1Km line, i really didn't expect 30Mb/s

You could try downloading firmware for that router from www.dd-wrt.com , appears to have ipv6 support.

The speed may not be great, but you can play with ipv6 as much as you want.

Buffalo WHR-G300Nv2 works fine for me - only 100Mbps ethernet though. Wireless N.

Are you either of the reviewers here?

Spec is great, but I'd be unsure.
