Also, the triangluar heads weren't very deep, & if they gor worn & rounded on the corners, the cab key wouldn't grip, & just jumped off.

The triangle locks presumably means you can open them with a service key from Poundland!

Hence Robertos 'another old cab' is a Cabinet Cross Connection 3 with enhanced security. smile

If we are to get this right. a modernish pcp near a pub is a ccc7. New small cab is ccc 5a and another pcp is a ccc6

Special points awarded for photos of a 4a as I have never seen one and half a point for a 2 and a 5. smile

Extra special points awarded for a 3 with quante assemblies and earth bonding to the fttc cabinet. points will be halved if the door falls on your foot. smile

No pics of a 1 or 2 yet.

Treble points for a midland shelf to fibre cab tailsmile

Does that need a square "train-door" key?

I did, his post showed a link to a fibreglass cab.
I was questioning why you replied to this post with the comment "Not so, they are made of fibreglass. The old ones are made of cast iron".

To me there didn't seem to be much connection tongue.

What do the engineers think of the caption on the full pic of the pole?

The 'pull on pole' ain't that bad. I'd happily send an apprentice up if the pole tester's ticket was ok.

Thanks, but already got the cabinet ones. Not sure I want to put the groundworks up.

I should have made it clear in my opening post I just want one of each type for identification, so as long as every one I have is a decent pic that's fine. I've wasted a few people's time now, like yours frown. Sorry.
