GEA-FTTC: PCP only install - offer CPs the option to order a PCP-only provide. This enables customers to offer self-install or accredited engineer install products to their end users
This is supposed to be released over th weekend 16th/17th July.
Will any ISPs be offering this in the near future, as I do want FTTC but my job means i am not at home most of the time, making appointments hard. Self install may be a better option for me.
If self install I would presume it would be like the old BTOpenworld ADSL Self installs when they first released it, you would get send a modem and on your alloted day the engineer will just tinker with the PCP and you just plug everything in when activated!
