Hi Orly,

I was able to flash the modem and get into the login page but after that things went downhill. I could get no response when trying to change the firewall and was unable to enter any other menu.

After unplugging and rebooting, I am not even able to get to the login page now.

I am using a SP06 modem.

Did you, by any chance, set the firewall back to "BT"

If so that will lock you out of the web UI as it sets it back to the BT firewall rules which block access from either of the Lan ports

Power on holding the reset and, assuming that you get the firmware update page again, reflash it back with the unlocked firmware.

only use "standard"

or "off" if you want to use a secure shell login.

Do you know of any way to "edit/delete" the BT rule to avoid accidental selection once unlocked?

Thanks

After installing the new firmware I could leave the hub connected to LAN1 on the modem but I just plugged my PC into LAN2 instead. As long as I changed my IP and default gateway on my PC it would allow me to get to the modem config @ http://192.168.1.1

I'm on bt option 3 with fibre and can't wait to see my stats, I've flashed the modem fine but when I log on to telnet and it finds the modem. I put the login name in but it keeps saying it's wrong, am I missing the point? I thought it was admin admin the same as loging into the modem to change the firewall settings.
