Will the Alix boards have sufficient bandwidth? I hear they max out at 65 Mbps

We have had the the boards at over 80Mbps bonding 4 ADSL2+ lines with BE, i am hopeful. Time will tell smile

We have had the software running in VM on a standard pc, hitting 200Mbps in the lab, but thats a a little overkill for this smile

Will you have a camera crew ready to film the first FTTC cab explosion? Or the pavement/road surface melting between the two cabs?

It's just been physically put in place, and looking out the window (sad!?) they're diggin a trench to the existing cab round the corner to connect the two.

But there's still LV power and the Fibre cabling to go it, I'm hopeful they will fast track it as it's been rejected by the council a few times so they are around 6 months behind on this particular cab already. I'm hoping before the end of the year but knowing the timescale usually involved it will be Q1 2012.

At least yours is progressing smile

I found out in Sept that mine was subject to "planning issues" but they were hoping to have it up in 3 weeks. That info is now 6 weeks old, and still no sign.

Power connection is always the stage where it takes ages and the cab sits idle doing nothing, so thikning Q1 is being optimistic at best. I would be thinking Q2 or even Q3!
