Can 2 cabs be connected to one fibre cab

In the town near me, recent road works at a roundabout where 2 cabs are located a new Large Fibre cab has appeared.

Just wondering if its possible that both cabinets are connected to the fibre cab which is about 10-15 meters from both cabs.

Quite possible ...

Copper telephony comes into original cabinet and distributed to houses - normally. For FTTC the incoming copper pair is rerouted out, across a tie pair to the FTTC cabinet where it is multiplexed with the VDSL signal extracted from the fibre link to that cabinet. The cable then returns to the normal cabinet on another tie pair which is then connected to copper pair feeding the customer premises.

In the two or three locations I know of where there are two adjacent PCP's, one has two separate DSLAM cabs, one for each, another has just one cab for one PCP, and the third location neither has been fibred up.

Turns out both cabs got a fibre cab, a few days later the first one was installed.
