I would make absolutely sure you can get some benefit from an 80/20 package some of us on here have unlocked the modems and can see on the new profiles that the max we could achieve is 50/12 or similar. IMO not worth upgrading to if there is indeed an extra charge.

there is aproject in place to to ensure all live exchnges are able to take the band placn increase form 40 to 80 which is why you may have seem some odd speeds over the last couplle of weeks --

This has to be completed before any bandplan increases can take place (40 -80)

I never notice any slow down here in Derry/Londonderry. Service is top notch. If there is any slow downs it must be on a local level.
