New modem coming this week

I've got a question. I've got a replacement modem appointment for this week. However, I flashed the modem firmware a few weeks back to see all the stats. Would that matter at all?

Pretty unlikely, for one thing the OR engineer will just take the old modem off and stick it in his van. He isn't about to stick an Ethernet cable into the 2nd LAN port to check that the web interface is still hidden.

Doesn't the ZIP file have the Original firmware, you could just put that back on to it?

Apart from that, I believe all the work is being carried out by Kelly Communications on behalf of Openreach , all they will be interested in is, in and out as quick as possible .
