Long Line FTTC or FTTP with no cabinet?

Hi

My exchange Hunslet has just been added to the list of going to be enabled FTTC exchanges.

As my home at LS10 4SQ is 2.07km from the exchange and are told by numerous BT engineers that we have a direct connection to the exchange and do not go through any cabinet.

My question is what fibre option may we have if we are not connected via a cabinet?

You might get FTTP - eventually.

You will not get a VDSL based service (FTTC) as VDSL is not approved for use within an exchange.
