Hi everyone,
I've stumbled onto this forum after searching for ages anything regarding the Poplar exchange, FTTC and why I have a max 2.2mb connection when i'm paying £40 month for unlimited 20mb (silly me, I know, I did check my postcode, however I was optimistic this oversight would be fixed....)
Anyway, I found the Dec 2012 csv file and found my postcode, could someone please indicate to me what it means? Thanks a lot for your help!
SAU_ID Name Postcode SAU_NODE_ID Exchange Only Flag Percent Lines Uplift Phase Deployed FTTC or FTTP
LNPOP POPLAR E143WB {LNPOP}{P19} 0 1% 3.58 5a Yes FTTC

There should be another entry for this postcode as only 1% of lines on this postcode are served by this cabinet. This cab, however, is due to get FTTC.

Thanks for the help Spasch,
But I've filtered by the postcode and only have this in the CV file (which i imported from a google doc). There are no other worksheets that I can see, and this was the only info available.
However good to know it should be getting it soon (though i'm assuming soon means now till.....this time next year?)

Bad news I'm afraid. There is another entry in the original csv files for lines on that postcode, showing the rest of them (98% and allow for rounding down) are fed directly from the exchange. That means no FTTC for them.

Thanks Roberto....
Unfriggen believable....the cab is directly outside my window, about 20m away....
Hopefully St. Davids square will go through with having fibre installed by a 2nd party fibre provider!

Nope, I'm not, checked my number and just saw various fancy looking acronyms of which I don't recognise at all but I did recognise the fastest speed... "up to 6.5mb/sec"
(and i've never gotten any thing faster than 2.2mb)

Want to see what speed your line should be giving? Not what some checker thinks off an inaccurate database?
See if you can find your line stats .
If those show there is a problem we might be able to fix it.
