RiPWIRE (Digital Region) ceased trading?

Accord to reports on some other forums, RiPWIRE (one of the ISPs that run on Yorkshire's Digital Region fibre network) has ceased trading.
My connection is still working, although it has had to speed fluctuations over the last couple of days. All phone numbers listed for RiPWIRE are now unobtainable.
Apparently plans are now being worked on to move customers to an alternative provider on the network.

Not much more to say - information is pretty thin at the moment.

Dear RiPWiRE customers,

As you may be aware RiPWiRE has unfortunately had to cease
trading as of 01/02/2012. An option to maintain the current client requirements
is in negotiation with a leading provider and a conclusion to those
negotiations should be reached tomorrow. In the meantime core internet access
and service is being maintained by RiPWIRE.

RiPWiRE's network is and has always been independent of
Digital Region and as of this time is under our control only.

We are not in a position to provide any 1st line support at
this time.

funnyly enough i was looking on there website today considering joining them and wondering why the digital region link was not working now i know lol

Digital region is a mess right now. I'm waiting to see if they're sold off this year. They might actually turn into a real business and offer more packages. They have the ability to offer any package between 120Mb-2Mb (higher with line bonding etc), but they choose to follow BT's lead. Shows no vision.
