Do a search on postcode. Mine appears and is showing as FTTP, 100% of lines and 4.1 uplift (about 32mbps based on my current speed), phase 7a which i believe relates to rollout date.

I had searched before and only found a single cabinet for our exchange.

I've just signed up for vivaciti (talktalk llu product) but i may jump to fttp if/when price is right. Its a monthly contract so i can always jump ship if needed.

Surprised ours is FTTP as its all overhead cabling down our road.

Lucky you. BT promised FTTC here in September 2011 and have now delayed rollouts until _at least_ June 2012.

I've found that Openreach has a Twitter account where they announce when exchanges are FTTC enabled. It seems they update it every Monday around 10am.

I checked a few from the last couple of weeks and Sam Knows showed each one as RFS 1/03/2012, so it does seem to be up to date.

Edit:AndrewB, you say Westgate has got FTTP, but I find no mention of Westgate in the Spreadsheet, and SamKnows only shows RFS 2012. Also Superfast Where and When only shows by end of 2012.

Westgate - FTTP/C
Folkestone - FTTP

Didn't know about Folkestone listed for FTTP until I checked tonight. Not surprised as it's one of a few areas in East Kent that has Virgin Media cable.

I know that Folkestone and Hythe are having FTTC cab's fitted currently.

I will ask my work colleague about the FTTP works as I'm pretty sure that there will be less impact on our workload in comparison to the FTTC works.

In short - yes, FTTC is due to be rolled out to that postcode.

The first line that I posted is the title of the columns of data from the Openreach spreadsheet that is viewable online (Google Doc's link somewhere around the forums - I downloaded it but's 46.5mb big).

The FTTC cab for that postcode will be rolled out under phase 8a.
