Numbers painted on the floor... Fibre?

There are numbers painted on some pavements (and the road) and I'm wondering if it is for fibre (It's marked every 25 meters... I think), our exchange on the where on and when list is set for FTTP in March but when I use the BT line checker it says I'll get WBC FTTC with a download of 40 and up of 20 upload. Also that December PCP to postcode spreadsheet says I'll get FTTP and FTTC, I thought it was one or the other.

It could be Gas, Water, Cable, Electricity, Phones, resurfacing, graffiti ... so unless you saw the people painting, who an say?

What colour is the spray paint ?

White.

Noticed some red paint markings to the left of of my nearest cab saying "BT DSLAM". Looks promising. Fibre is due here in June.

Thats where the new Fibre cabinet will be put.

The paint markings near to the cab that i'm connected are white also, A box with the word dslam inside it , maybe they didn't have didn't colored paint or this wasn't marked out by Openreach, but one of the sub contractors such as Telent ?
