Data found:

Exchange: Ld/waterside

Recorded Line Length (from exchange): 1218m
Estimated Attenuation (on ADSL): 17dB

You are connected to Cabinet 21 which is currently live and accepting orders for FTTC

Your speed estimate for fibre is:
Downstream: 40Mbps
Upstream: 10Mbps

All the data is correct for me

Because they monitor this forum and know how the data has been leaked

And the silence is deafening?

What the % of lines reffers to is the number of lines on a postcode that go back to that cab.

65% to cab 5 and the final 34% of the postcode goes to cab 53, both will be enabled for FTTC.

Ah I see, but they don't know what cabinet i am on, that would make it difficult if I ever had a problem with my line.

Sending all that data at that speed through my line would burn it up smile it is so old.

i may have a walk around over the week end and see if I can find them both, I know where there are a couple of cabs, so I presume it is one of those two.

Odd how people worry about privacy, yet are happy to enter all sorts of address/phone detail into an unknown site?

BT/OpenReach do know which cab you're connected to, but that information is linked to your phone number, not your postcode. This checker uses the postcode against the leaked spreadsheet data to determine the cab.

Or it could be that there is no more space left on the good line
We have 2 lines into our village, and i am lucky enough to be on that so get auten of 50 instead of the 63 that most get here.
Its just luck

How do we find out about FTTP if the checker doesn't show any information?

The copyright is in relation to the postcode -> cab link, not the location of the cabs themselves.
I reckon the cabinet >> exchange and the line percentages are also sensitive.
