Hello
i have been told that fibre will be available 12th of march this year, can anyone tell me if it will ba available in the TR138QJ postcode

You are served by Cabinet 1. All lines on that cabinet will be able to get fibre. However, according to the December data, you will not be getting FTTC. It will be FTTP.

Put your number into this checker. You may get more info, including speed estimates which should be FTTP type. It doesn't return that using just your postcode.

Before anybody gets all envious - I checked my Helston number (and postcode, TR13 0PP) and was told everything you can think of is 1Mb/s max download - which certainly matches reality!
2Mb/s? Not in my lifetime! (Nearly true Dec 2011)

Don't know where you checked, but that is Cabinet 4 and scheduled for FTTP like the OP. In "Cornwall - Tranche 2", whatever/whenever that means.

I would not get your hopes up, that spread sheet is very inaccurate for Cornwall. We was down for FTTP with no due date when it was updated in September time, then when I checked the wholesale checker around December it said it was going live the very next day but with FTTC.
It seems that we are left in the dark until the very last moment, not sure if OR know them self what's going where

Thanks for the replies, there are plenty of BT vans around the town pulling cables, i get 17meg ish 888 up w2hich is slow , it used to be 1.2-1.4 up
