openreach sent me an email today saying my exchange has fibre coming soon, but none of the checkers say anything on it yet, its still a FE status exchange.

i emailed OR to ask about my cabinet date seen as it had been there a year and has had 7 dates (exchange taking orders and other cabs but not mine) , Got one back saying it was nothing to do with them and to contact my ISP, I was like so the cabinets you install and maintain have nothing to do with you crazy wast of space seriously lol

guys you might know from the PCP postcode what are the phase to period mappings?

Like what's phase 7a for example?

Time periods are very rough due to different areas in the country being ahead or behind then others in the rollout.

Each phase i would guess is quaterly so 3 months between them so something like this below:

Phase 6 Jan to March
Phase 7 April to June
Phase 8 July to September
Phase 9 October to December

Though when the next exchange list is announced and spreadsheet leaked we shall if there are more phases this year, though with these rough dates delays will push cabinets and exchanges beyond the phases they where planned to be enabled by.

if the exhchage in taking orders and your cab is roll ing back every 3 months -- them this is consisten etiher with a planning siting (whic means object by local Authority) or power challenges - suggest you check you local authority planning team -- (assuming you know where the cab is expected to be)

the cabs been there and powered on for over a year that's why ive been so frustrated with the delays, The exchange finally went live this jan so i thought the dec 31/11 date would finally of been right (ready for jan) then it went back to 31/3/12 hopefully seen as phase 6 has just been done this date might finally stick .

as about planning they never have problems with that round here out council is all for super broadband weve got VM dgital region FTTC and when it
finally gets done BTOR FTTC there's cabs scattered all over lol

well the email was automated from their registration system and it did say at the end contact an isp for the local cabinet to be checked.

Still no Warrington! Still we have to put up with 1MB speeds in Winwick!

Can anyone tell me why Warrington is being ignored?
