Hi.
I have seen some very helpful people on here that seem to know a bit about the fibre roll out, or know where to look for the information .
Hunslet exchange was listed in the last list as to be activated in 2012. Is there a way of finding out when the exchange is likely to go live? There were rumours of it being February, but as it is now almost the end of March..... If so, would someone also be kind enough to find out cabinet information for LS10 4SU? The number 66 is stencilled on the cabinet outside. I would suspect we are not high priority for the upgrade .
Thank you.

Ah, just seen that more new exchanges have been listed today and Hunslet is now listed as "Coming Soon" on the checker, in September. A few more months to wait yet then.

Well you are right about the cabinet, all lines in your postcode are on 66. However, not surprisingly given the latest announcement, there is no other info in the December spreadsheet sorry.
Best to keep an eye out for markings on the pavements.

Local cabinets are being installed now. The Leeds street works site isn't showing any work to be carried out at our end of the road, athough the cabinet the other end was installed last week.
Can anyone with an updated sheet see if cabinet 66 on the Hunslet exchange (MYHLT) for the LS10 4SU postcode is on the future upgrade list please, as my requests elsewhere are falling on deaf ears?
Thanks
Mark

Only (some?) ISPs have the April 2012 spreadsheet. The leak(er) seems to have been well stopped.
Have you checked your phone number in the BT Wholesale checker?

Yes, I had hoped it was one of those nice friendly ISPs that would be able to check for me . Maybe it's because I continued on my old thread instead of starting a new one..
Tried that checker, Samknows, BT Products & Services and Sky. All tell me I have a rubbish line and I have to "like it or lump it"

Oh well, not worried about it now as we have decided to move and the area we are going to has fibre from Virgin and Openreach providers.

Don't forget Virgin is similar to FTTC, their fibre stops in the street and they use coax cabling.
(also have a read of the virgin forum on here before thinking of signing up - some areas are heavily congested)
James - be* pro - 16.8mbps sync - BQM
FTTC cab arrived 18-jun-2012 (due Mar 2011) - Openreach estimate 44.6Mbps / 6.5Mbps
