FTTC Eastbourne date moved until June?

BT checker originally showed FTTC availability from 31st March in Eastbourne, and now BT Wholesale shows 30th June!?!?

What is going on? I even spoke to the BT guys in February as they were installing the FTTC cabinet and they said it would be ready for end of March.

Can someone confirm what is up? My post code is BN21 2RD.

The 31st of March date was just a placeholder. The 30th of June is too. When a cabinet looks to be missing the placeholder, 2 weeks before the expiry, the checker adds 3 months and reflects the new placeholder date. Your cabinet could still make the 31st, especially if everything is ready, but other cabs may hold it up as there is a minimum number of cabs required to be ready before the live date is set.

They still have a lot of FTTC cabs to fit yet.

This will give you a 28 day list of roadworks in Eastbourne. Many are for BT.
