And nothing is live yet. I guess that BT will not hit 31st March for Crowborough

I wonder how many of the 'live by 31st March' they will hit.

We have a 31 March date for Broadstairs, but I doubt we'll go live then. Loads of cabinets are scheduled for power connection over the next two weeks, also loads of ducts being either replaced or unblocked. More likely we'll be nearer the end of April.

Don't be so sure. Mine had changed from 31st March to 30th June but appears to have gone live today. It could be another glitch in the database but I've noticed that a friend's is still saying June and his cab is delayed by planning permission. Just got to wait for my MAC to be generated now.

How did you check? Just using the one at bt.com/broadband?

I will try a few random telephone numbers if that is the case

dslchecker.bt.com is the one I used. It has been known to get it wrong before but at that point other numbers in the town were saying it was live when I knew they had no cab.

A few random numbers later and all that comes up is 'register interest' so I guess it'll be some time during April.

Might find it's pretty much ready to go but the databases and such like might be a little behind.

Crowborough has been moved to June 2012 in the latest Openreach rollout docs last month(?). It's in the "Exchanges coming soon" link here.

Oh! On the bt.com/broadband site is still says 31st March. There have been quite a few cabinets upgraded but I guess not enough.

Oooh - only a few days ago the BT Infinity checker was giving me 'Computer Says No', today it's saying I can have it if I want it...

They do change things at the last minute it seems

And sadly no FTTC. The checker now says September even though there are quite a few fibre cabinets dotted around Crowborough.
