Can anyone tell me if i wll be able to get Fiber?

My town in being enabled for fiber in June this year, but when i check on the Talktalk website it says i wont be able to get it. People who live 100m down the road thou will! Can someone check my postcode and see if i will ever get it! NR35 1QR

Your EXCHANGE (BUNGAY) is due in June this year. But unfortunately, the cabinet you are connected to isn't one in their initial rollout.

The Cabs being given fibre, are:- 1,2,3,4,5,7, and 8

You appear to be on cab 11.

Would be worth checking the April spreadsheet when/if it gets leaked.

What April spreadsheet? That's another myth.

Where do you get the idea that his cabinet is due in June anyway? It is down as

“Blanks” = Not part of a phase / untargeted cabinet

in the December 2011 data.

I thought it odd that you could be so wrong. Easy mistake to typo though .

The April idea is still just something that sprung up from nowhere a while ago.

You are on cabinet 11 and in the latest data its still not planned I am afraid. Cab 11 only serves a few postcode areas so Openreach will have deemed it commercially non-viable like many other smaller serving cabs.

Cab 11 would have just been put in to serve your small estate

Where do you guys fins out what cabinet im connected to and if its being done?

NR35 1SB - Not on deployment
NR35 1LH - Is on deployment, and will get FTTC

The data comes from the December PC spreadsheet.

This data explains that the postcode is connected to cabs, 3 and 5. and the end number is how much of a speed increase they will get. (on average). (although i presume this is based on a 40 meg product, rather than the 80 that is available now)

Sorry for picking up this old thread, am moving into the NR35 area and trying to find out why the FTC didn't appear to happen according to by ISP

Can anyone tell me how I get an explanation and ETA from BT
