BT Infinity Have Profiles And Penalities If Bad Connection?

Does anyone know if BT Infinity has a similar connection profiling and getting stuck at a lower speed if you have a bad connection as old ADSL?

e.g. if you can normally connect at 35Mb/s, you experience some interference from somewhere and you may disconnect and reconnect at 27.5MB/s can you switch off, reconnect and be back at 35MB/s or do you have to wait for days for the BT system to decide if it feels like it to put you back to the speed you should be getting?

It has an IP Profile system, but without the original 5 day reaction period to improvements (which has vastly improved to realtime improvements for 80% of UK)

There is a DLM system but very few actual detail about it, but does not seem as harsh as the old ADSL2+ target noise margin controls, which are distinct from the IP Profile
