FTTC - available at Exchange, but not on phone number

[link to this post]

Hi all,
I've seen another thread here talking about this, and I'm guessing it's one and the same thing - basically my Exchange has been upgraded to allow FTTC but when I check my phone number (or other phone numbers on my street), they aren't showing as being Fibre-enabled.

My postcode is SS95PR. Would someone be able to let me know whether my local cabinet will be upgraded soon?

Thanks

Your postcode is served by 3 cabs, 2, 9 and 29. Unfortunately most properties are on cab 29 which is not planned to FTTC at all. Cab 2 is already live but only 2% are on this cab and cab 9 is not live but is planned, but again only 8% are on this cab

88% are on cab 29. Sorry!

Thanks very much for the info, and taking the time to respond to me.

The big question is how do I find out the cabinet serving my property although I would guess that's the one on everyone's lips in my situation!
